What started as a cold treat after weekend games turned into something nobody saw coming. Two young student athletes kept showing up to the same spot after every game — and one day, they decided to become the spot.
Coming from an entrepreneurial family, taking things into their own hands came naturally. The brothers saw an opportunity to fund their own summer fun — and turned that motivation into a full-blown business. Founded in 2023, Toney Bros was born from that hustle. With an initial investment from their parents, they purchased their first refrigerated cart and hit the ground running — keeping every cup perfectly chilled from cart to customer. The community responded immediately — and they never looked back.
Today, Toney Bros operates 2 refrigerated carts and a full concession trailer, serving as a crowd favorite at local sporting events across the Greater Charlotte area. These student athletes are still hitting the field and the court — and then serving up the coldest cups in the city right after.
They're not just building a business — they're building character, community, and a legacy. Every scoop supports two young men who are proving that with hustle, heart, and a great product, age is just a number. 🧊
